Crocodiles! Is that a big lizard with teeth? Likes eating meat and any thing with two legs. :o
That’s a problem with spell checkers in MS word if you spell it wrong it corrects it for you. If you don’t ketch it, it will put the wrong animal in your sentence.

Crocodile's predatory habits
Crocodiles feed at night on fish and other aquatic animals in
· creeks
· open water and
· deep channels.
Crocodile population

Despite protection, the number of crocodiles in South Florida has been slow to increase. The current population seems to have stabilized. Habitat loss and change in salinity and water levels in Florida Bay may be a factor in limiting populations.

Danger of crocodiles to humans
Because of the shy and reclusive nature of crocodiles, they generally do not pose a problem for humans.
Unless you get to close, go swimming with them or your stupid and try to pet one.

American Alligators
What alligators look like
Alligators are large, lizard-shaped reptiles that have a
· scaly, dark-colored hide
· broad snout and
Where alligators live
The American alligator· lives only in the southeastern part of the country
· is usually found in fresh water and
· is restrained by the cold temperature and distribution of the wetland.
Alligator's predatory habits
Alligators eat anything that they catch, including
· fish
· turtles
· raccoons
· birds
· dead animals
· other alligators and
· the occasional human.
An alligator can float motionless in the water with only its eyes and nostrils exposed, waiting for a meal. Its powerful jaws can easily crush the shell of a turtle or the bones of an animal.
Danger of alligators to humans
Alligators have been known to injure or kill people and pets. Most attacks occur in the water, suggesting victims are mistaken for prey. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission receives thousands of nuisance complaints every year. Many of these alligators must be killed because there are few places where they can be relocated.

Yup, forgot about them crocodiles and alligators. Only find them north of the tropic line up around Brisbane and higher. The thing that you confused me with is "sings on the beaches" . Only at Christmas time and only carols.
Cheers

Very nice looking tear. It's hard to tell from the angle, is a Benroy?

Alligators love marshmallows.

Also, alligator populations may have declined, but believe me, there are still PLENTY down here and they're prolific breeders. However, the average size of our gators has decreased dramatically because we don't have as many wild turkeys and larger game for them to feed on.

Last piece of alligator trivia:

Up until not too long ago, it was believed that they ate their young. Actually, mommy was just putting them in her mouth to move them from "pool" to pool.
Here we go again!
