No can do - jugs give lumpy pressure - sand or dirt gives that even-all-over pressure we all seek.
Ira, you readin' this? Seems to me like an invitation to comment.....

Do you Merkans ever say 'Fnarr fnarr!'?

An even poorer man's (me) method, put the other sidewall and another piece of plywood on it and lay a bunch of junk on top.

Hmmm.... maybe I should buy a 4x8 aquarium? LOL

Hey I have lots of dumbbells...

Okay, maybe I should do like Steve did, many bags of playsand...

And some of those tie straps for the roof...

I wonder how a king size waterbed mattress would work. Just lay it on top of your sides and fill :)

good thinking... now we just have to compare that to the cost of playsand...

(and the cost of building a bench that can hold it...)

I've heard of people using a kiddie pool and filling it with water.

Not pictured because it is behind me in that pic, is my 100 gal aquarium. It is 60X18 on the bottom, it also weighs 250lbs empty! :?

Sounds excellent and the water is easy to dispose of when you're done (as long as you're not too 'green').

Buy before anyone thinks this is a full alternative to vacuum bagging, be aware that vacuum pumps achieve vacuums in the high 90s % and that is over 14 psi of pressure - equivalent to over 30 feet of water depth and so a bit deeper than most water beds......

You can see why people use vacuum pumps when they can generate this sort of force, eh?
