The tension between what is good enough and what is beyond that creates the space for character to become our work.

This week I've managed to complete the stringers(roof), all the internal wall framing, insulated, pre-wired and internal walls fitted. I've also cut the first piece for the ceiling. All the framing is western red cedar, light and strong. Pics will follow tomorrow.

That planer looks almost exactly like mine. They really churn out the sawdust don't they? Looking good.

Paul, you are really moving along. When you finish why not take a trip up to see Ayers Rock. I went half way around the world to see it. You live just a days drive!

P.S. If you go in summer take fly netting!

Sure do, Steve. Albeit only a half galley. Due to the fact that I'm sooooooo long, I only have a small space between the back bulkhead and the rear of the trailer.

Asian, cheap GMC planer. It works wonders

Woodbutcher, Ayres Rock(Uluru nowdays) is about 1000m from here. Bit more than a day but we'll take your advice onboard. Heve'nt been there yet

Guy, Thank You
