I dadoed an area the width and depth of the jig in the piece of 2x6 and it is held in place with one screw. Since the jig is slightly tapered from bottom to top, I made tiny shims slipped in from the top on either side of the jig to hold it straight. If you dadoed the opening at the proper angles, you wouldn't need the shims. Not easily seen, is a piece of 2x4 in back of the 2x6 to reinforce it so that the clamp can't bend it backwards. Both pieces are attached with glue and screws from the bottom of the particle board base. Here's another pic from my album of the jig in use. The 2x2 piece clamped to the base is a guide/stop to align the pieces at the same position each time I drill the holes.
