Thanks for all the kind words everyone. This was my first attempt at cabinets of any type.

Doug, couldn't agree more, the oak sure produces a nice look when finished.

Very good work. I've been wondering how to make my cabinets look a little more interesting and your Texas addition gives me ideas. I may go with some decals to match my theme (whatever it turns out to be).

Dale, I used a wooden cut out, picked it up at the local big box craft store. Bet they would have something that meets your needs.

Hey Earl.... well you know , I'm Sooner born and Sooner bred...

But the Texas on there should make anybody know not to mess with your stuff! hahah

I know I'm going to have those glass type door knobs since this is my Jewel Box , hahaa, but the idea of a diamond shape , cut out or such would be for me!

I HATE great cabinet work, because I can't do it.

But in your case, I'll make an exeption.

Outstanding!

Thanks all.

Ira, if I can do it, you can do it. This was my first shot at the doors, just take your time. I know, you have the curtains, but if you wanted to install doors in your next build!

I just built a rectangle, then router the outer edge for effect, and routed the inner portion of the retangle on the other side for the center panel to fit in.
