Spadinator - That's flush mount 110volt light. ;) I've got two outlets & an outlet strip if I need more.

mikeschn - Not sure which picture you're talking about, but I've never worked with any 12 volt lights. I had a lamp that I drug around with me and an extension cord. Also, I think my web hosting account has expired, so I'm either going to shop around for another one, renew, or maybe find someone willing to let me post my pics to their server. I'll have to change all my pic links, but that shouldn't be too painful.

Oh and 200 replies and over 10,000 views on this message thread! Thanks so much for checking out my little project everyone!

Spadinator - I appreciate that. I'm happy with the way it came out. I hope it works well - I'll let everyone know shortly.

mikeschn - No exciting work now Mike. All the fun stuff is done, now I'm making epoxy fillets on the interior. :SH Now that the exterior is complete I can take my time on the inside. I'm going caming this weekend!

Just hauled the trailer down the road for the first time tonight. No problems, but it was a very short trip. I didn't get above 50 mph, but no sway. I'm pulling it to work with me tomorrow, and I'm leaving from work to the Teardrop gathering in Dallas this weekend.

Not sure of the weight, but it tows a helluva lot easier than my 8' Coleman Taos popup. I also had no problems with it scraping when leaving the driveway, and I was really concerned with that. Now I'm feeling much better.

I'll post how well it does around 60 when I get back in a week or so. I'll also try to get a lot of photos.

Take your saw and drill motor with you. You can work on it while you camp!

Yeah, I let my domain/hosting expire. I have another domain that I'll shove everything into. I just rolled back from a week of camping, so it might take a day or two. I'll get them back online though.

Well the Puffin kicked butt! I had no problems towing at 60mph, and 70mph wasn't a big deal either. It tracks just fine. My 4 cylinder SUV did great pulling it, and now I'm really curious as to the weight of the setup, I'm guessing 700lbs.

In 7 days we hit Nacogdoches, Sam Rayburn, Palo Duro Canyon, San Angelo State Park (2 nights), and Huntsville State Park.

We'd ride trails during the day, pack up and hit another park at night. We stayed in San Angelo for two days because it was raining. It stormed really hard on us, and we stayed dry in the camper.

Palo Duro Canyon closes their gates at 5:00pm, so we camped outside the park. You could see our site from the park. Lisa got some cool Palo Duro Canyon pics, but we didn't stay long - we got out before the snow.

San Angelo had their trails closed because of rain, so we just laid around, and went into town to play, eat, and do some Christmas shopping.

Huntsville was probably our favorite as we were camping in the very back with tiny sites that no other RV's could fit in. :)

I'm back home for a day or two, and then I'm heading back out to some other parks.

The tires were cool after towing for hours, bearings were cool, no problems at all. Now I need to finish out the interior, and do some exterior touch-ups. I'm very pleased with how it all worked out. Also, we hung some black fabric (taped it on for this trip) over the windows, and it's really dark and quiet in there. We slept 9-10 hours each night, and we actually slept until 11:00am in Huntsville. :SH

Sounds like you had a gas. Good looking little trailer. I am very impressed with the puffin. I am looking forward to the vaca pics.

Oh, did you get any comments on the rig?
