I just got in the door at 20:30 ... and I have to say Im very pleased...
1st the very nice Finnish Birch Marine Ply fit like a glove at 155 cm.. exactly ... to the outer edge of the walls...and top and bottom plus there is no cutting nor sanding as it is presanded and precut ....

This evening I only had a chance to mount it on with 3 stainless small screws near the hinge area to tie it down and strap it in place...
I,ll go and get a stapling gun tomorrow from a friend of mine and get it down better...

But it is real nice ply in my opinion....by a company calleed UPM and its called Wisa Craft Marine Ply...Ill get the web page for you.. they have a wide selection of different products...

I took a couple of photos of what it looks like at this moment..on the Voyager....

I think you are starting a new trend for Finland. Before you know it, once others see your TD, they will start building.

Heikki,

Great work if you need more motivation we could ask the family to keep all adult beverages from you and no saunas until it is complete   8)

Am I being to cruel????

Ohhh Pleaaaase - take the beverages but not the Sauna....A Finn needs a Sauna.... Life without one isnt complete... I intend to take a Sauna with me when Its time to head for the pearly gates.... and maybe the Voyager too, then we could finally have an International Gathering...

I dont know what has happened but my motivation has found a new meaning.... ;)

This about the location of the back lighting ... it may need to come up a little higher yet but at least you get the idea as to what they will look like.

All are Led...
