I wish I would have taken pics of the fender construction but I was so tired and sore that it didn't come to mind. They were really easy to build,I just cut out four pieces of 3/8" AC to the profile you see and braced them together with some 1/8th" luan doorskin that I had left over, then covered the outside surface with aluminum and stretched the aluminum over the top. I may trim the upper edge but it is pretty tight now so it may not need it.
I sprayed the inside of them with rubber undercoat.
Thanks. Aaron

Thanks! My grandfather gave me the truck about 20 years ago,He bought it new and when he retired he gave it to me,I promissed him I would fix it up but he died before it was finished. I did a minor restoration on it but left the engine alone,it has the original 350 that has never been worked on other than the alternator and the water pump, still runs great (knock on wood! ) I lowered it four inches replaced all the body mounts, window rubber, windshield, glovebox liner, carpet etc.
I drive it every day and wouldnt trade it for a new one.
Thanks !! Aaron

Aaron, that TD is beyond gorgeous in every respect, and hell...

It looks like it should be the protoype for a production line model:

It puts anything the major manufacturers make to shame--like AIRSTREAM.
