I am building the roof on my camper right now. so far I have 1/8th inch screwed down and 3/4 inch strip perimeter around the top edges and spanning the joint of the ply sheets. I used titebond III to glue the strips to the joints of the plywood spanning the joint.

I have screws and titebond iii holding the 3/4 inch strip.

once I put the foamboard and the top skin of 1/8th inch the same way. will that be a good enough joint with plenty of titebond iii and screws?

or is it imperative to fiberglass the seams.

For anyone else who hasnt heard of Sikaflex I can vouch for it and an equivalent product called Tigerseal. These are both trade names for what my work colleague calls "stick like s***" PU ahesive/sealers.

In the Kitcar world most of our cars are put together using Sikaflex either as a sealer where a lanel is riveted or in some cases on its own as a sealer and adhesive.
Boys never grow in to men the toys just get more expensive and more dangerous

How true :)

Gridrunner, I put epoxy dams where my trim joins the top. I put mine on exactly like you are. If I had to do it again I might consider fiberglass also. It can't hurt and will certainly help.
