my galley is completely removable if the granite counter top didn't way so much it would be much easier for two people to take out. mine is on straight casters and the ropes on the side secure it in place when in transit.

I sent this link to my wife to explain what I had in mind.she really liked it of course with our own personalizations. We would probably use a much lighter countertop and perhaps a slightly different layout, but your setup pretty much hits it on the nose.

She also came up with another eason to make the kitchen removable.....the SCA group we camp with does not normally allow vehicles to remain in the camping areas. With this setup at our medieval tent and perhaps a big pot of stew and a coffeepot going, we might have more friends hanging around than we know what to do with.

Speaking of stew, she had an idea of using a large stainless stock pot as a sink with an appropriate hole in the countertop to hold it. A cutting board would serve as a lid or to increase counter space. Ever seen anything like that, and do you know of any advantages / disadvantages?

This started life as a Little Guy cargo teardrop and I added the galley. http://tnttt.com/album_ ... c_id=59733
Here is the utility drawer that I mounted on a slide out work shelf where I usually put my two burner stove. http://tnttt.com/album_ ... c_id=59734
