Kerry,

I really like the drive up 15 no matter what the time of year. My daugher is a freshman at IC, so we have started to make trips fairly often. The colors were waning, but still enjoyable. We stayed at the Treman state park outside Ithaca, which was really nice and is open for a couple more weeks with hot, clean showers. $22 per night sure beats over $100 for a super8 on parents weekend!

The wife and I were up all the way up into St Lawrence County the week Oct 19 (My dad's 97th birthday) and the color was OK, but not the best. I just went up the other side of Harrisburg today and saw some really nice color. I always enjoy the scenery up through there, but not the actual drive. It always seems to take longer than it should and I don't believe that I have ever in the 30 years or so that we have been traveling that way, NOT had to go through construction (usually quite a bit actually). Hope you always have nice drives.
