I put an oak bumper on my first build and I'll probably do something similar on build #2.

While they may be practical, I couldn't think of a design that:
a) wouldn't interfere with the use of the galley, and
b) would look good with for the profile of the back end of the teardrop.

I do have a receiver hidden at the back, so I could add one at a later date.
