Miriam,

Try some of Mike's Hard Lemonaide... just cause...

Now back to our regular scheduled topic...

My planner looks just like that one too! And I just put new blades in it too, so I can use it again, finally!!!

:woohoo:

Mike...

That planer is great. I buy my timber rough cut(cheaper) and make all my own stringers etc. Even the cedar in the galley area was created with the help of it.
Mike, Summer vacation? It's freezing down here today :?

So is it today or tommorow yet? There has been a serious lack of pictures lately. What with folks going to Pamplin and VA.

Just having withdrawl symptoms.

Questions on Pauls Build 2

Postby sdtripper2 » Tue Aug 08, 2006 1:05 pm

Hi, Paul:

See you have made substantial progress on Build #2.

Understand your rig will be off road worthy. What added comforts
and changes were a strong consideration for this latest build?
See this one has the hatch. Must be a Galley was one thing you
wanted in this model?

What electrical considerations will you put in this build?
Shore power hookuPs or maybe solar? Maybe a Fantastic fan?

Looking great Paul. :applause:

Paul, The free time seems to be at a premium these days. I'm still trying to complete my education (at 61).. I'll make it if all goes well and the tuition reimbursement holds out. Finally (5 courses to go) and I'll be a college graduate. Wahoo!!!

Use the "free" time to your advanatge because you can never make up lost time.

Great progress; keep it comin'.   ;)

Okay, I know it's been a while BUT with time in Queensland, with Reiner from Aussie Teardrop Campers, my wife's (the Handbrake) 50th Birthday etc, etc, etc.
Here's what I've achieved to date.

I really like your new tear! I think you are really going to like having a small galley available to cook in. Ok, your wife will really like having it.

You mentioned that you aren't going to have a fantastic fan. Do you feel that you don't need the airflow or don't want to use the power? I used two computer fans to reduce the power draw. They won't create a breeze but my calculation shows they should exchange all of the air in the cabin every 3 to 4 minutes. It should be enough to keep the air from getting stale.
