Now I just have to figure out how to hook up the drain :? :? :?

Once I get the courage to actually cut a hole in my pretty counter, I will post pics. :NC Wish me luck!!!

Looks like a lot of work ! bought a 12" round bar sink from a building supply liquidator for $12.00 Removed basket and tailpiece of of old take out sink from a remodel and installed with functional pitcher pump in the kitchen for island sink. Just picked up 9x12 square bar sink with all faucets and complete drain for $20.00 at Habitat for Humanity Restore, This will go in my 5x10 this summer. Just like Jonny Cash "ONE PIECE AT A TIME"

It wasn't an Ira experience because you only wound up going to two stores.

My average for one stupid item was five.

Looks GREAT! Have you played with it yet?

Okay, so, I over exaggerated, It was hot, I had to pee and I was hungry, and it just made the Lowe's experience that much more irritating. :fb

It really works!!!! I was fooling around with our company's green lee set tonight, and decided to see if I could "dimple" my sink. The largest size knockout we have is for 2" conduit, but I tried it anyway.IT WORKS!!!
I turned the die upside down and ratcheted it a few times and it DIMPLED!! To get the drain to fit I had to grind it down to fit the dimple. If I had a knockout fot 2 1/4 or 2 1/2" conduit it would have fit perfectly.
I had cut the hole for the drain prior to trying this and had tried to dimple it with a pair of pliers, thats why it looks so messy. the hole did get bigger, but the sink was allready ruined. I'm going to buy another one and do it properly :D

COOL Beans!!! Doah!! I already installed my sink :x I'd have to bring the greenlee set home to dimple mine, and I dont think they will let me do that. .....OR when my TD is road ready I can take it up to work , show it off a bit in the process and try to dimple it there!!!

GOOD JOB!!! Thanks for sacrificing your sink in the name of TD discovery!!
