Started a project !

Anything to do with mechanical, construction etc

After one season use (last summer) and 6 or 8 trips, I'm as pleased camping in this as I was on the first trip. Once it stops snowing here in Alberta, I'm getting the bug to finish the trim in it, and closet door etc. Minor details.

Also starting to feel like tearing apart the old tent trailer (what's left of it) to start a real teardrop. (main intent of which is loaning to family members - I know I know)

Main advantages of this over the tent trailer (beyond the fact that the TT was falling apart at the seams)

1: No setup/teardown time ! Wahoo what a HUGE advantage. I was always soing three up/downs a trip. Once to load the trailer - once (at least) to camp, and once again at home to empty or dry the trailer.

2: My bed is not hanging out over thin air. I know this is no big deal for some, but I always felt insecure hanging out there on that shelf.

3: Stop on the side of the road for whatever reason. Cook lunch - have a nap etc. (basically no. 1 expanded)

Love It !

That's awesome. You stuck with it. I'm sure that's an inspiration to everybody in the build phase. You have to make time.
