Build update

Anything to do with mechanical, construction etc

Thanks everyone for the kudos.
Sean, That is a digital voltage meter to monitor battery voltage. I got it off e-bay but the instructions are not clear on how to hook it up. I'll figure it out someday.
Joanne, The table worked great. I was able to cook with two DO's at once and it held up fine. I do wish I had make the wind screens taller, but I was using the left over from the bottom. I can also put my stove or BBQ on it. Also my cooler fits perfectly under it.

Hi Jim,
I haven't had much time lately to browse the site. Catching up tonight, I saw a lot of your build pictures and you are doing a tremendous job. The galley turned out really nice. The whole project is looking first rate. :applause:  8)

Bledsoe3,

I must say that your build is sweet!

I didn't realize all the work that goes into a teardrop when I started all this.

Anyhow, just wanted to thank you again for letting me look at yours before I started. I think back to it often on my build.

I can only hope my finished product looks as good...

Thanks, Phil. You're doing a great job on yours. You should be camping in no time. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

I saw this pic and the first thing that came to mind was drilling a hole by each leg in the top and using a slide bolt to lock into the hole to make sure the legs don't kick out accidentally.

Bruce, Thanks, it's getting there.
SaGR, I thought I would drill a hole in both pieces and drive a dowel in one hole. The weight of the stove should keep the top down.

Bonus! If you drill it through both pieces and clip it on the ends, it's also your paper towel holder!
