Hi Everyone!

Well it has been a long time since I have done any work on the tear but I am finally back at it. Here are a couple pics of the start or the interior and after. The first is paneling that looked ok but was a nightmare to cut and fit. The second is a nicer pine tongue and grove planking. This stuff is great! It is easy to fit and looks awesome. The plan will be to use liquid nails for adhesion.

Do you guys think that the liquid nails will stick ok to the pink insulation?

Greg,

I really like the tounge and groove. I was looking at some at Menards the other day, and thought it might make a neat interior for a tear. How thick is the stuff that you are using? I was looking at some that was only about 1/4" thick, which ould have been great to keep the weight down.

The tube of adhesive you buy will tell you what it will stick to.
The pine looks really nice. :applause: :applause: :applause:

Thanks guys!

The pine is 5/16" thick. With the ply and foam my walls are just a hair over 1 3/4"... Over kill for sure. Oh, well...

Can't believe I didn't think about looking at the tube... :duh:

WELCOME BACK, BUDDY! LOOKS AWESOME!

And I feel better--Greg and I started at the same time, and I'm ahead of him.

Of course, he HASN'T been working onhis while I HAVE.

That sounds like the stuff I was looking at. I'm anxious to see how it works out for you since I'd really like to use it on a future tear.

Looks good Greg.
With all those Tamiya cars and motorcycles back there I can see why you have not been working on the tear.

Thanks Ira!

I was moving right along until I decided to get some college done. Boy did that take up my time. Then I was deployed to Krygyzstan and just returned last week. Since classes have already started for summer semester I have time to work on the tear. :D The goal is to be done before the fall classes start which shouldn't be a problem.

Do you guys think that sealing the pine is in order? Maybe just a clear varnish or something?
