I too am racing the clock. I have 2 full weekends to finish my build.
regarding your spars that are in the corners, they should be 2x2s cut to the right angle.
Glue and screw a sheet to it... sand it to the right angle with a belt sander, and then glue the other sheet to it, and sand the right angle on that piece.
If it's too late to use 2x2, can you glue the two spars together? How about screwing them together?
Last resort is that angle you were talking about.
