Sheeting the WeekEnder

I've got approximately 3 weeks to complete the WeekEnder for the Nascar Bristol Race. I'm sheeting the outside and running into a slight complication. Where the angles change in the roof line I have two spars on each side of the angle change. The problem is how to tie the two spars together so the butt joints of the sheeting do not flex and break my seal, which will be silicon and epoxy putty. I did not think of this until I started mounting the sheeting and the two panels flexed. I am thinking of using small 90 degree angled brackets and benting them to the proper angle for the two pieces and then using them to tie the two spars together. This should make it more rigid and hopefully move together and not break the seal.
My goal, now, is to make the WeekEnder useable if not complete by the 23rd.

I too am racing the clock. I have 2 full weekends to finish my build.

regarding your spars that are in the corners, they should be 2x2s cut to the right angle.

Glue and screw a sheet to it... sand it to the right angle with a belt sander, and then glue the other sheet to it, and sand the right angle on that piece.

If it's too late to use 2x2, can you glue the two spars together? How about screwing them together?

Last resort is that angle you were talking about.

...another option would be to toss the silicone, epoxy filler/puttey any gaps and sand smooth and then use fiberglass(cloth) tape and epoxy to seal/join the two sections........

I used the fiberglass cloth, 6" strips about 3"on each side of the joint with epoxy. Have not had any problems where you're talking about. Have FUN.
