Teardrops n Tiny Travel Trailers

Was thinking of building the 5'8 weekender on a 4x8 trailer, each side would habg over 6 inches. If i make hte floor trong enough nad bolt it down nice and tight i dont see how it could be a problem. Oh yeah did you sell you weekender frame yet?

another note. you would have a wider trailer, but not a wider track. That can cause some instability..... so, see other note, and if possible, widen the trailer frame to fit your purpose.

Like Arne said, I would try to widen the trailer to fit the body. Especially since it brings the wheels out and increases stability...

The Weekender chassis is not for sale. It's going to be my platform for my Curved Weekender, my Lil Diner, and maybe even a version of the Winter Warrior. Heck, I might even do a Turtle or a contemporary design on it...

Now there's a turtle for you... I think you should buy a VW beetle, and build a turtle teardrop behind it... What a concept!!!
