Teardrops n Tiny Travel Trailers

I e-mailed George at Teardrop Parts and he says he doesn't currently have plans to re-stock on the rectangular sink. SWMBO is dead-set on having a sink, and with the limited space in a Cubby I think this might be my only option. Does anyone know of an alternate source or another sink of similar size (10.625X11.625)?

How about a "bar" sink.... The "built-in" bar in my home has a sink about 14x14x5.5 and includes lip at back edge for faucets.... It is all "brushed" stainless steel.... And has small opening for basket/strainer type drain..

Does it have to be square? The bathroom in my basement is tiny so I made a sink out of a stainless steel mixing bowl. Just drill a hole in the bottom and install a drain. I was going to do the same thing in the teardrop but opted against a built-in sink - I just use the mixing bowl on the counter top.

...another option is to goto a restaurant supply place and get a SS steam table tray and drill hole and put inna bar sink drain...they have several sizes available and is what we used.

Yep, And dirt cheap, too. Mine cost about 19 bucks, without the drain. (See my album.)

I scratched my pan/sink up a bit trying to work on it at the boatyard, to install the drain and such, but no big deal:

This is an "off the shelf" item, so they'll ALWAYS have replacements available in the exact same size for the exact same cheap price.

And that makes a BIG difference when you're ready to take jigsaw to countertop to make that cut for it. It's not like you're buying some very exotic, expensive marine sink where once you make the cut, that's it.

But I really don't think these are stainless steel in the true sense. I might be wrong, but at this cheap cost, I don't see how they can be. Maybe the plating.

Yes, I did the resturant supply steam pan also. It cost me $10 and the hardest part was cutting the drain hole. I just used a jig saw and took my time. It looks great but since it is flat it doesn't drain well but still works. I have pics in my album.

That's a great idea - and I think I remember that a half-pan is 12"X10", which will fit even better than the Ken-Skill size. Thanks!
