Fantastic Fan 6600R

Postby doug hodder » Sun Aug 13, 2006 7:51 pm

Has anyone used this fan?...I have installed Fantastic Fans in both my tears, but the 6600R is the remote control unit...the new tear design isn't going to allow me to reach up when laying in it and just tweek the switch, it's just not going to be within arms reach...I was wanting to know if anyone has used it, and what the good points were and what drawbacks there are...I'm sold on the others I've had, ...Thanks in advance...Doug

...I would talk to Scott at Adhoen(sp?) tell him what you are planning and get his thoughts on the matter...he sells a ton of Fantastic vents and is super helpful...

I'd have to get out of bed to twiddle with my fan switches. I got the 5500rbt. I thought that the thermostat would take care of having to change any settings. If it cools off enough, the fan will just shut off. If it warms up again, it will come back on. It may take a few uses to get the hang of setting it properly. I didn't even consider the remote unit. That would be convenient.

Sometimes I pretend to be normal. But, that gets boring...so I go back to being me.
