I am looking for a good/ easy way to have doors close/shut/seal.

On all the utility hatches, I use a one inch overlap with the sandwiched dead-wood.

On the main cabin doors, this was not done.... is there a molding for the jam with stops.......

please post pictures/ examples

I have not been able to find any.....

I am building a "No-Plans" one off, so it is a trial and error road map.

Maniac,

Do a search on door seals and you'll see some excellent photos of peoples' different methods of providing a door shut.

The 'classic' technique from the past is to screw a aluminum Tee section to the door so one leg of the Tee lands on the body.

Camp-Inn makes a really nice door jab with seals and all. they can bend it to your specs. but it might have to be rounded like mine, but I am not sure. also madjacks door jabs look to be a very easy way to go and you can make any shape.

What'a not shown is a piece of foam weather strip where the door jamb meets the door.
