Teardrops n Tiny Travel Trailers

It has been awhile since I posted and I have been on a one week build frenzy. I have not completed my in-cabin and in-hatch cabinetry, but it is all useable with sliding AC, LCD w/DVD, roof vent, gas cook top and slide out cooler. Here are some outside photos. The curb side window will be installed when I return.

Can you post pic's of the A/C install or are they someplace else? I remember some, but if it is the one on a slide I would like to know how it traveled and how you mounted the slides! Also how you drain the pan?

EXCELLENT! REALLY CLEAN BUILD!

We pulled it 240 miles and it pulled great! I pulled it empty to the first KOA site and then when we left Thursday morning, we loaded all the goods in the TT. It traveled well with the majority of items staying put.
The axle was not too rough as I had anticipated. It is a 2,000lbs. torflex.
I did purchase an EZ-UP with side curtains and this is a great addition for outdoor shade. I will attempt to contour it to the TT after I return home.
I will post some site pics later.

The AC slide-out worked great, except for the water in the pan after the first night. I have a great drain system for onsite, but there is some residual water in the pan that ended up on the front edge of the mattress. I'll find a solution for this.

I also picked up a Knox foam medium firm matress with a hunter green water-proof cover. I'm glad I spend the extra $15.00 for the water-proof conver over the cotton cover. (AC Water)

The AC uses a RV access Hatch (Ebay), HD Drawer Slide-out (24", Lowes) and Garage Door seals, cut on a chop saw, with a 6,000 BTU AC unit, it is worth the extra cost for the digital controls and remote.




I do the cooking, but I don't do dishes!

That is one heck of a cook top, I like that a lot. The TT looks great hope yall have fun with it.

P.S. Do you have a light for your license plate? I don't know if that is a law in your neck of the woods, but I shure would hate for you to get a ticket for that.

Thanks, appreciate the compliment from someone that has also built a great Weekender. I still have cabinetry to complete, but more than enough time after the Bristol weekend.

The license plate is actual a friends Dealer tag as I have not had time to register it yet, and it is over 80% covered by a hitch rack and Hitch Haul dry box. The plate is there only to keep me from being pulled over with NO plate!

I am at a WI-FI KOA and siting outside the TT with the door open, the AC on high and the Fantastic Fan blowing in on High, which creates a nice cool breeze in front of the door.

It is so amazing how functional these small trailers are.

OOPS, another curious camper, got to go!
