So with a broken arm things slowed down for me, but I talked my hubby into helping me a few hours this weekend. We got the sides up! YEEHAW! Both our builds are progressing slowly but surely.

Now we just have to finish both our roofs.

what a great idea!!!! you've got a real handy location for all your materials...watch...you'll be one sheet short of material to sheet the roof on the house...wonder where it went? Doug

That baby isn't going anywhere. And once we are finally in it neither are we. I'm sick of being homeless. Maybe I should finish the tear and we can move into the garage. I already made him install a flushing toilet in the basement of the house. So we would be set!

What a great idea. Build 2 teardrops and then build a house around them!
Looking great. Isn't it exciting building a new house? You'll have to leave it once and a while so you can go teardropping. 8) 8)

Teresa,

Both builds are looking great! I figured that cast wouldn't slow you down too much :) Having also built a house (14 yrs ago), it was a lot of fun to watch it progress each day. I remember bringing our folding chairs up to the lot and just sitting, reading the paper and hanging out on the slab concrete floor that had recently been poured. Our neighbors must've wondered (probably still do 8) )

Which do you think will get done first? Which do you want to get done first?

The second one looks great but I don't know how you're going to pull it behind that minivan.

Jeanette - I wish we could get the house done first so I could be there full time to work on the tear. Unfoortunatly the cast is slowing me down terribily. I can't grasp anything with my fingers yet and still can't lift anything even lightweight. The other day I was trying to screw in my galley shelves. I couldn't hold the screw and operate the drill at the same time. Bummer.
