Screen room storage

I did a search first(maybe I did'nt narrow it down enough) on screen room storage.Came up with 2462 entries. lol

While my frame is upside down & has about four arcs left to strike,I was thinking of putting a storage compartment on the underside of the frame sealed up to carry my overhead awning/screen room.
My thoughts were of first to go up,last to come down. Not having to drag in and out cabin or galley would be a relief.Sometimes may or may not use it.
Anybody done this? All pros and cons would be appreciated. Thanks

I store mine on top of the bed inside the cabin. It is just a hair too wide to store sideways though. It isn't a lightweight so I put it right over the axle.

Thanks Asian.Thats what I will probably end up doing, putting it inside the cabin.I really wanted to devise a latching box on the underside running back end of gally towards front, getting it 'out of the way' when not needed.I can see where across the width could pose a problem. Thanks for your input.See ya!

How about a luggage rack on top of the tear. 8)

44. Sounds like a spy huh.
If you have the clearance, there is no reason you can't run a storage under. I would watch my weight if welding it. Maybe pan it off with some lite weight metal or fiberglass. Course most of the "basements" are wood.

Mike or Steve F. had support welded for their basement.

It's yours, do it your way! ;)
