Door Props.

I saw a picture that halfdome had posted of his door props. They looked tike they would work for me. I have Grant's flip out style windows in my doors and to keep from crushing them when open I had limitting straps on my doors. This kept them from opening too far but I didn't have anything to keep them open. These door props do both so I removed my limitting straps. I had to bend, modify the pins.




Now even with the window open full there is clearance between the window and the Teardrop.

Me too, I need a set of those. I haven't even gotten around to making the limit straps, let alone installing them. These pins would be easy, 4 screws, and you're done.

Yep, I'd like them too. Keeps the door from blowing closed as well.

I picked mine up at Camping World as did halfdome. I think they were about $5 ea.

Now, if I can only get into a Camping World. I tried 2 times and they were closed. We tried another time and the road was washed out.

great idea and with my windows from Grant too looks like a solution to a future problem...............the door blowing too far.

I'm lucky to have a Camping World close by.

Most any RV dealership with a parts/service department will have the door stops, usually for around the same price as Camping World. Got mine locally but have 'em mounted a little different. Wanted my doors to swing farther open so I just have to make sure the windows aren't open very far

This seems like a great idea but don't these pins create too much stress on the hinge side of the door and cause problems?

They don't seem too bad. I wouldn't intentionaly let my doors fly open into the stops. If a strong wind caught the door while opening, it may cause some stress. Otherwise no.
