I picked up some Chrome Trim Rings and Lug Nuts today to dress up my white wheels.
Before.
After.
Adds a little flash, brightens them up.

What a difference.
I need to put my thinking cap on to do something with my rims too.

Another picture with some more contrast. The Chrome picks up some nice reflections and adds depth.

It does look better - and fitting five lug nuts instead of four is a step forward too

Good eye Andrew. I had taken one off to get the right size and did not put back on for the pic. I bout the rings and nuts at my local Checker Auto and Pep Boys.

Gerdo,
Nice detail! Really makes your wheels look nice. Sometimes it the little details that make the difference.

Yep, I have to admit they do look better than a painted formica disk, held in place with a wooden rim and 8 wooden spokes, plus you don't have to varnish them every year.
Roly, planning on something similar for the 1/4 Nelson Stacker.
