Filon is expensive stuff... You can try your local RV Dealer. Ours can get it. $1500 for enough to cover a 6x10 trailer.

Has anyone ever used or know anything about All-Rite the RV repair parts specialist? http://all-rite.com/

I found them on searching the internet and were on the t&ttt link that can’t be gotten to. Under Google I found that link, clicked on it and found myself bumped off the internet. ':o'

They have locations in California and Georgia and ship. No prices on the web site.

Flat Fiberglass
* Flat fiberglass is a durable, semi-rigid material of reinforced plastic
* The emobssed finish panels won't corrode or dent like aluminum
* Comes standard in 8' widths or can be cut to 4'
* Flat filon is sold by the running foot only
* Lengths up to 6 feet are shipped via UPS, anything longer must ship common carrier
* Available in Designer Beige, Polar White and Colonial
* All colors are available in both Fibered or Pebble finishes
* Designer Beige Pebble is ONLY available in 4' widths
* 4' pieces are HAND cut and will have only 1 factory edge

I’m contemplating on how best to finish the outside of out teardrop, once we get that far. ':)'
I want black and white in color, smooth finish and of course don’t want to spend anymore than necessary and no more work than necessary, not that those two necessarily go together.

Martha,

From what has been said previously about All-Rite, I believe it is a sensible safety precaution that you are securely seated in a supportive chair before being told their prices.......

Martha, All-Rite has almost anything you need...they are a good place to shop for IDEAS...but to echoechoecho Andrew...I have never priced anything from them that I couldn't find cheaper (often considerably) somewhere else......

Thanks to all, that’s good information for all us new people. This forum is really great, not only are others ready to help each other, so many possible sources have been already checked out that I don’t feel like I’m alone while I’m trying to figure the whole thing out.
Thanks, Martha

You're Welcome!

I believe this to be the same stuff Len used on the exterior of his Shasta build.

Darn good price, I think!
