After a week of teardrop withdrawl, I was finally able to get back to work! The sidewalls are now temporarily in place and the interior and galley shelf supports are attached. I'll rough in the electrical placement (inlet/fuse box/etc...) tomorrow, then take the sidewalls down for the final prep work...I can't believe the 'Mander is actually looking a little like a TD, LOL! 8)

Thanks for the kind words! I finalized the placement of the vents, inlets, porch lights, etc today and took the sidewalls back down...feels like a step backwards, LOL!

Love the red floor. Do you have a color scheme yet?

Since I'm working outdoors with very little protection from the weather, I'm having to epoxy/prime/paint as I get things cut out. I think I may leave the red paint showing in the galley. I have a very simple mural sketched out for the exterior that has light teal, yellow, red, and a tiny bit of orange. I figured that way it'll match any of the VWs (except the lime green camper). 8)

Keep up the awesome work!!!!!!!! I especially like your galley mock-up. I went through that stage a few times myself.

It's cool having so many lady builders here...................

I think I know exactly how you feel since I'm am virtually the same point. Have you done the stareing at it for extended lengths of time yet? That's what I did mostly today.

Actually, that's about all I did yesterday...I thought I'd get alot done with the whole day off, but it didn't happen.
I did figure out the router and cut out all the sidewall holes for lights/vents/inlets/etc...so it wasn't a total loss.

You must be trying to make the Lake Bistaneau camp out.

Yep, but I'm trying not to get my hopes up...I know it's probably not a realistic goal, but I'm going to give it a try anyway, LOL!
