I have been busy skinning the tear and did remember to take a few pics for you so they have been added to the album.

I was supprised how easy it was to do the alloy including the anealing and bending. The worst job was drilling and countersinking all the holes. Boring!

Much easier the fibre glassing the outside and not as messy and smelly.

The solid rivets for the hatch wern't a problem, except for finding them. Most of the suppliers only sold a minimum of 1000 so I couldn't get countersunk ones and had to use truss head. They look good though.

The next job is getting the thing on the trailer and adding all the hinges and locks etc.

WOW!!!

How the heck did you DO that, since you're not even American?

Outstanding. Spectacularly clean. Simply Gorgeous.

And the question is, you did this with a little help from a web site paid for and hosted by a guy in Michigan?, With a moderator/administrator from Louisiana? And another one from Cannabis country in Northern California?

Doesn't make sense--or maybe it makes all of the sense in the world.

The web does make the world smaller and with lots better communication between people it might even reduce wars and nationalism. China has started to use the Web more which is fantastic

Just my 2c worth

Any way you guys are all a great help and inspiration. :applause:

There are a few of us Kiwis that have been using Qajaqusa an American web group promoting Greenland kayaking. Last summer we ended up with 4 American and 1 German guests at a local kayak simposium which was great.

When are you all going to come and visit NZ?

I watch the Travel Channel and I see programs about NZ that make me drool.

Yeah, REAL paradise may not exist, but you guys are pretty close to it.

Gorgeous country, and from my online experiences with N Zealanders, as well as speaking with my buddy who has been there a number of times, you guys are fantastic and have a lot to be proud of. Like Australians.

Just an observation from a South Floridian stuck here with all of the old, cheap, annoying snowbirds.
