Anybody have the link or thread to the alternative construction? The one where the guy skins the whole tear and uses a jigsaw to cut the hatch out. I cant seem to find it. Thanks!!

I used that method on my tear. I drew the cut lines on the sides, and cut a couple inches on the lines at the bottom of the hatch before I put the sides on the trailer. After the hatch spars and skin were on, I put the saw in the precut kerfs and finished the cuts. It worked well. There are a couple photos in my album showing this.
