I thought it'd be nice if I could mention Grant and his sales of tear drop parts and supplies. I purchased several orders from him and they arrived quickly via priority mail in a PVC tuble that protected the parts. Moreover, I bought a set of outside door handles and one of them fell apart (tumbler fell out of the handle) and I mentioned it to him and that I would buy another and behold! He said no problem, he'd just send another one in the mail, that it's a warrenty thing. It is refreshing to find someone honest that put his customers first vs the profit margin. Also, he is quick to email and if I had a question on building my teardrop, he'd answer my questions. I know there are many suppliers out there but in my book, he ranks at the top.[/quote]

Grant is an overall good guy. Got my fenders and hinges from him with no problems. I simply told him what I had and he helped me decide what I needed.

Also got to spend some campfire time with him. He had some interesting campfire stories.

Grant will bend over backwards if needed to help you in your build and the purchase of items he carries. He is a fine business man and teardropper. Danny

Sheesh, after reading the horror stories of Austin Hardware, Grant is looking better all the time!

Grant is a "mensch."

I ordered from him 2 weeks ago, and got the stuff in 4 days in that same tube.

It's a shame I have to take his beautiful materials and turn them into such crap.

Like I said in another thread. If your building a house. Buy your parts at a hardware store. And when you want ice cream, go to Dairy Queen.

This dude also likes food and beer (or is that diet pepsi, caffine free?) ;)

Same here. I used his windows, Beter than Huricane Hinge and T molding. Great stuff, great service. I also needed a couple of short peices of T molding after I miscut the original peices and he got them to me in a couple of days.

I know this...Grant will help out anyone in need of help...and when I picked up my windows, hinge, and fenders from him, for the Rocketear...he made me a killer deal on the fender skirts...don't know if he wanted anyone to know that, the first set out there...but it certainly was nice and unexpected of him...now I need to do him proud and finish them off with a premium paint job and graphics...  thanks Grant!!! Doug

Very nice words, there, everyone ... and my heartfelt THANKS! for every one of 'em ... ;-} ;-} ... but like I was telling Heikki just the other day, I just try to treat people the same way I want and feel I deserve to be treated, it's as simple as that.

Some famous prophet, way back in ancient history, once said that what we give out comes back to us ten fold. Now, I'm not counting, but I gotta say that I've been blessed with the biggest bunch of good friends that any guy would want since I started messin' with teardops! THANK YOU, ALL, for everything all these years past ... and all the ones to come!

Doug ...

I KNOW you'll do me proud, that's a given ... so how about some pics of the progress? ;-} ;-} ...

CHEERS!

Grant
