Hi Guys.
I just started with my new project. I hope you can see this pics and i would like to get some feedback on the matter. I just got a chance to have an old trailer from an old Tricycle (motorcycle) and I have enlarge the measurements to 2,50M x 1,50M from what originally was the trailer.
To take it today for anti corrotion treatment and afterwords I will start painting.[/img][img][/img]

Looks like it will be strong for sure, but it might be a bit heavy?

Hi Moki;
Thank You for reply. That base has about 100Kgs. I hope to do the rest in wood. I think that i will not get until the 300 Kgs, until thi weight I do not need to registre it and have a plate.

Where are you from.... Interested since you use kilos?
Thats a strong frame you have there for certain..

What make of car are you going to use to pull it? If your in URP, and it goes over 750 kilo you,ll need brakes added..

Do you have an idea as to which tear your going to build?

Either French or Polish... Id say French...

But I could be wrong, the letter on the plate is sort of blurred..

You could possibly cut a few pieces out... the ones blacked out, maybe even the yellow one to make it lighter, but I wouldn't go any farther than that. It doesn't look all that heavy anyway, a 100 Kg = about 250 Lb...I think mine weights about 300Lb.....

Hi;
Thank you for your inputs. Where am I from? Azores Islands - Portugal. Car plates either in Germany or any other EEC country are the same type mandatory since 1994. The Car to pull, is a Renault Kangoo 2000 CC Diesel. I have a normal trailler that I pull with 990 Kgs and my car can pull a maximum 1,250 kgs.
Micro - I will consider your suggestions, however the ones you paint black at front and back unfortunatly I have to keep them because those are the handlers that will hold the trailer static against the ground while camping.

Classic Finn;
What I have in mind to build is the following tear. I will have to make some changes from measurements from this original scale in inches to metric as my structure has 2,50 long by 1,50 large

Hi Finn;
You should know that there is a Charter Flight Operation during all year around from Helsinki direct to Ponta Delgada ( where I leave). We can see many scandinavians here in winter dressing like summer time. So, we never froze here. May be one day you will come here. Take care
