Teardrops n Tiny Travel Trailers

I have just about finishing part one of my TTT I have a new problem.
My trailer will seporate at the middle the lower part is a flat bed trailer looking something like this


I could run staps over the upper body of the trailer like you see them do with flat bed trucks.
I was thinking of some sort of latch. The walls are made of 2x4 pine I do have metal in the middle like the spine on a human.
I have thought of spring latches, ties from base of floor of upper body to trailer.
It is called the Box Kite so I could use heavy colored Rope and make it look like it is part of the image (going over the top and running town to the tung).
I probably have confused you as usual for me but I am a loss for words to explain it any farther.

I have pictures but am having technical difficulties and can not get them into this computer (working on it) to show you yet.

You might have a few bolts that insert from underneath to attach the trailer to the chassis? When you want to detach it you reach under and unscrew it and lift it off. The trailer would have a nut built in it at the attachment points so it would be a strong part of the structure yet wouldn't show.

I used T nuts inside my tear and washers and bolts underneath. If I had to I could take mine off the trailer. I used a paddle bit to counter-sink the T nuts and put some black goo in the holes.

I have all these but I did not know what they were called excpet the monster from the black Goo.

Lordy!!
Evil smelling black goo that you put on the bottom of your floor. Truthfully it might be easier to use anything else to seal the ends of the wood when you drill holes. You want something to seal the edges before you put the T nuts in so water doesn't get in.

Heres the messy way. Cut the corner off the baggy and bend it so nothing can leak out. Now put some goo in the baggy. Wear gloves and line under the hole with a styro plate or lots of paper.

Cover the hole from the bottom and put goo in from the top. Let it soak for a minute. (get someone you don't like to hold the bottom hole. Now hold the plate under it and let it drain. Put in the T nut and screw. You can also use rubber washers that HD sells that are the same size as pan washers to help keep out the water.

Don't forget the washers. And lots of GLOVES.
OH and drill through the wood and metal at the same time that way it all lines up.
