Teardrops n Tiny Travel Trailers

Ran across this. About middle ways down in the article he explains what he did to fix the bouncy trailer. Anyone ever try taking the bottom leaf out of your leaf spring set and go with it for a while? Did it help? Any adverse effects?. Difficult to remove the leaf? Thanks for any responses.
