Mike, I guess you should have kept your T@B.

It's actually lower than a tab, and longer than a tab. It has the Lil Diner front end on it, and it has a tongue box that'll be attached to the main body, like the Ultra 550. The yellow profile lines on the back are swiped directly from the tab, and shrunk a little bit.

I have two floor plans, one with a bathroom and one without. So far I'm planning on building without.

Chell wants some diamond plate on it, so I'll make that piece under the window diamond plate. I'll also put those jeep rubber fenders on it.

We still haven't decided how to skin it.

I would call it the Tilde, since it is one key above the TAB

Mike. I really like the way you keep coming up with your designs.
I've staeted my modified weekender but beginning to wish I had decided on something like a benroy. Maybe I can build one later. A friend of mine said he might like to buy mine when I get finished.

Now, you see, that is the sort of flash of genius this forum should be famous for! Superb.

Here's the Tab L design as it stands today... I've gotta thank Andrew for helping me tweak some important dimensions...

Just did a little more playing around.

That's a queen sized bed in there, not counting the table. At night we could hide the table under the bed, to make it easy to jump into bed.

The tongue chest has a vertical wall in the back of it, to increase the storage space under the counter.

Yea, that's an air conditioner in the back, sandwiched between two cabinets.

Finally, all the space under the bed can be used as storage.

Did I forget anything important?

Mike, I do like the look but I just had one thought. What if you continued the back of the trailer down in a more traditional tear shape and made a rear access panel in the back below the bed (or sides behind the wheels). You would gain some storage space and avoid trying to make that tight radius.
