Floating Tear

A while back there was some talk about, and some sketches of some floating teardrop designs. Does anyone remember where they were? I tried the search with no luck.
I'm really throwing around the idea of a small floating tear.

I think one of the floating tears we discussed was called 'Aquatear', so you could search on that, as well as on 'amphibious'.

This one looks a lot like it but someone redid the picture I think, maybe I'm just thinking I saw it. Thanks That gives me a real good starting picture

I think Mike S. posted one similar. It had pontoons I think. Does that sound familiar?

 :applause:

That's the exact photo I was thinking about. But I'd like something Amphibius That the wheels stay on in the water. But I love the looks of that.

Thanks

That was just a fun afternoon on Sketchup. Keeping the wheels on presents some challenges. Maybe a swing-up drop axle would be good. Otherwise, dragging tires through the water would just be, well, slow... not to mention the effects on bearings, from rust, etc. I thought of this as more of a tear-shaped houseboat that could slip on a light-weight trailer that stays with the tow vehicle. You could still use it as a camper if left on the trailer.

Very valid point. I might pirate parts of the look though.

Of course this is just a thought. I've also got thoughts of a glass top tear in my head. Because I love star gazing, and want an ultralight So that will probably come first. I did save the Pic this time though, Thanks for the help

Build it on a jet ski, and load it on a jet ski trailer!
