Weather Striping for doors and Hatch Hinge.

This company carries what looks to be some good weather striping for the doors and a hatch hinge called Roton I have seen the hinge on another Tear Drop web site in the past. the pic is from a section that I found at work in the trash.

I believe that SoCal Teardrops uses a similar type of hinge that they have made specially for them...... 8)

your right now i remember seeing it there, this company has two distrbutors here in Marietta, GA that I am going to check out Monday.
when you have time check out the Roton hinge on there site they make more then one type.

I have a geared hinge on my tear. cost about $100.00 with shipping for a standard door hight hinge. they align very close and have to be right on when installed and have to be installed to the body and lid at the same time. They work smooth and have no play in them like "hurricane hinges .They are still prone to leak as they have small cutouts in them for blocks with set screws to keep the leaves aligned. I fixed the leak with a small strip of weatherstrip in the "closed area so the hinge squeezes it when shut.

What do you think of this hinge it looks like the screws have covers over them, I am going to stop by a place here in Marietta and check on a price. Nice Tear Drop
