Teardrops n Tiny Travel Trailers

Thanks to all for the encouragement to keep shopping around for welder help. Found a great guy that welds on the side and builds trailer frames like this quite a bit.

He's getting all my parts, making all the cuts and welding the entire thing together for me for materials + $100 for his time! And the prices he's getting on the materials is quite good. I'm impressed. He must have a friend at sixroblees.com.

Placed the order, so we're rollin'...

Axle should be here within a couple weeks, and he says he'll have it together and ready for pick up a couple days after that.

I canNOT believe we are doing this. What in the world are we thinking?!

Yee-haw, bring on the power tools. Going to the Harbor Freight Tools sale this weekend in Bend. Gotta get clamps, clamps, clamps, and a bunch of other misc. stuff! Can't wait.

Yes, I learned this very quickly once I started building...you can never have too many clamps!!

Did I mention that I thought I should get clamps?! Any opinons on that? ;-)

In case nobody says anything, I think I should bring it up, you may want to consider getting a few clamps.

I really think you should get more:

Don’t forget to pick up more clamps… Some 5 gal buckets filled with water are also a good idea for clamping.

And don't forget a few routers... you really cannot have enough of them either. I only own three...

and don't forget - use the same tape measure through out your build......................................
