Need link to fold out/pop out/drop down bed

Hi folks. I need a link to the fold out/pop out/drop down bed that appeared on the site some time back. Yes -- I did a search but the answer didn't "pop up".

This is a single width bed that mounts into an opening in the wall of a trailer. It is hinged at the bottom. Releasing a catch at the top allows it to fold out (outside of the trailer -- not inward) and down like the fold out bunks on a Kiwi brand trailer. The bed is covered by a fabric tent structure.

The link was to the site of an RV parts or surplus dealer and I believe it cost about $800.

Your help is appreciated.

I remember that one; it was similar to a tent trailer type canvas sided bed.

I think it was from a salvage company from Elkhart Indiana..I have a link saved; it's the only one I have in Indiana...Thought the website looks differnet now, I'm pretty sure this is where I saw it. I looked through the site but didn't see it listed; but you could email them.....

Hope this is the link.

I saw it at the site listed above before - couldn't find it when I went browsing recently however.

To be honest though - I'd suggest simply driving out to one or two of these places and gawking. While I haven't visited the folks in the link above, I have been to Bontrager Surplus (located nearby but in Michigan). I'd lay money they would have some sort of cargo door big enough to build your own fold-out bunk with... Besides - they're just plain fun to browse if you've got the time.

Thanks guys. I couldn't find it either. Guess I'll just have to drive down to our regional surplus facility. It's 110 miles away but it should be fun to visit.

I'm sure a quick phone call would answer the question fast too...

On the downside - If I remember correctly, the place in Elkhart was asking something like $800 each. :?
