Have you checked the Generic Benroy Plans, it has a section on building doors.

thanks Kerry that answered a lot of qestions I had not taken the time to look at that Mike should be designing spacerocket.

My wonder was the wall will have an outside wall and an inside wall with insolation for those cold mornings when I get up to 5000 feet.

The wall will be 1 and 1/4 inches thick or so. should the door also cover that distance are they made the same as the walls. with a air pocket in the middle to keep out mr. cold.

I will try and draw it and scan it in and see if I can come up to the next step of getting such in other wise as I continue to lean how to get photo's into system I will shoot it and send it.

I never thought that in so leaning how to build a trailer I would in ensence learn to send photo's on the net. I am the old fastioned type photographer using film this digital stuff I new would catch up to me but never new how far it would take me. I love to learn.

I am feeling better today. I had to stand for several hours siting was the pits.

Ron,

You should build the doors the same thickness of your sidewalls. Take a look at my "Build and Camping Photos" in my signature and you might be able to see how I built mine. There are from the Cubby plans.

Kerry,

Am I seeing you used plywood cut out for your middle frame between the two walls.

I was thinking of using the same wood as I would use to make the ark at the front arch of the trailer roof support. 1/2 x 1 s or something like that. I look at lumber every day the sizes have not sunk in.

I work at Home Depot. Almost everything I need is there but I buy alot of my stuff from local mom and pop lumber or hardware stores instead to keep my money in the local economy.

Any way thanks for the ideas and the help.

Ron,

My construction is all 3/8" plywood on the outside, 3/4" framing, and 1/8" inside skin. I used the plywood because it was convienient for that part of the door construction.
