Protecting the Wood

Postby GeneH » Mon Mar 19, 2007 10:30 am

I am planning to paint every piece of wood with a preservative as I build the Tear including those hidden from view to help protect it from damage when the enevitable leaks occur.

I am looking at CPES from the Rot Doctor but wow...they really like that stuff $$$.

What have you folks found effective?

BTW I plan to paint the outer walls and roof of our teardrop...Probably with marime paint or other epoxy based paint.
