Teardrops n Tiny Travel Trailers

I got most of my wiring done yesterday,it aint no fun drilling hole through 32 spars . I got the brake lights and lisence plate wired,one light in each corner of the cabin,porch light and switch leg,accessory wires for extras,hatch light,I still have to install a pull apart disconnect between the hatch and body so I can remove the hatch.
I was very pleased that after the hatch was skinned and dried overnight that it kept it's exact profile when released,It didnt even move 1/16th of an inch. I hope I get that lucky when I skin the interior of the hatch! Aaron

You're worried about spring "in" on the hatch? That thing won't move a hair.

I am now trying to figure out how to latch it, I want do something similar to a car trunk,where the release will be inside the cabin area near the door. I want to be able to just pull a lever or knob and have the hatch pop open. Thanks again. Aaron

Aaron, aren't you gonna have to use two pieces to skin the underside of that hatch? What do you have in mind?

I will use two peices,one to cover the main section and a smaller one for the rear. I am going to add some extra wire for future use and then I will seal it off.I added some extra wire runs in the cabin just in case I add some features later,wire is cheaper and easier to run now instead of later.
