I got the roof insulated and skinned,got the inside of the hatch skinned and man what a difference it made in the strength, I can pick up one corner and the hatch lifts without the slightest twist.The roof is strong as well,I had to sit on it to staple the sheet down with my gun.I also got the disconect wired in between the hatch and the body,now I can remove the hatch if I need to without cutting wires,I just have to unplug it. Hey Auntie M...we use a small, square 6 wire disconnect between the hatch and body...works great.....

I used the same type of disconnect for mine. I thought about using one of those spring loaded contact bars like the ones used in the rear doors of suburbans but I couldnt find one fast enough,probably a good thing! I may just be getting to fancy! Aaron

Absolutely, After you shim here, putty there, beat it with a hammer, re-do the whole thing twice. Sure it fits . . . almost.
