TD Makeover Part #1 - Battery Box

After doing a couple months of "sit and stare" allowing my imagination to run wild, I've finally started the renovations of my TD that I bought used last November. Here's some pics of my battery box. I realize the CC logo is trademarked, however, I'm not selling any decals or items that I've created. As always, your comments and feedback are welcomed.

Sanded down top coats of paint and removed some stone chips, drilled for hardware

Sprayed with epoxy filler primer

Battery box and fridge door (galley pics later) base coat "Red Pepper Red"
Started laying out decals

Eric,
That is really cool. What a great way to repair the battery box and add a real retro look. Very nice work.

WOW Thanks for the compliments :D I am pretty happy with the end result. My wife and I are huge CC fans (especially her), and she lit up like a christmas tree when I opened the garage door. There's so much that I'd like to do before taking it on it's maiden voyage. That's right, I haven't had it out as of yet. My galley needs a lot of help before it comes even close to being presentable. My interior only had two very small cabinets above the head area, and there is nothing above where your feet go (no shelf or cabintets). Although it looks good from 30 feet away, the entire TD needs a new paint job. My fenders are severely stone chipped, and the hatch needs refitted. I'm gonna try to work with the fenders, the rest of the paint work is gonna have to wait until next winter.
