Wow, I gotta say that I really like that bunk and catch all shelf. I'm going to start building a Benroy based teardrop myself. Would you mind if I used those two designs in mine? Also, where did you get that door? Can I ask how you made the bunk? It looks like it would be 2x4 framing covered with plywood, is that correct?

Thank You---The Bunk is Made of 2x2's With a 2x2 triple Stacked in front so my daughter wont roll off . Then i just Covered it With 1/4' oak Plywood and Trim. The doors are From http://www.eaganmfg.com/.
They Have All Kinds of Doors and Can Make any Size. They Also Can order Roof Tin Cut to Length. Talk To Richard Eagan. The Bunk Is Hinged so It Will Fold Up

PS:Use all the designs you need, I come up With that idea one afternoon while putting spars in. Thats when I decided i didn't need a Galley, But i did need a storage area

The carpet looks really good as well. What kind/type is it? I know on mine I'm going to put padding under it.

The Door is a 24" Wide x 36" tall Insulated. The Carpet is just indoor outdoor. just wanted something to cover plywood since matress will cover floor.

Looks GREAT!!!

I put two layers of padding under mine, same type of carpet, but unless you're doing it for the insulation factor--don't bother:

I thought two layers would somehow make the floor "comfortable" for sleeping without a mattress, sleeping bags only, but no:

My ass STILL hurts from the last outing, and that was months ago.

Hey--my wife works there, so I get 10% off of that 45 bucks, which is $4.50--almost a 6-pack.

What did you use--a canned spray adhesive?

For that price, I'll do the same thing.
