Fiberglass siding - Questions

Postby Dave H » Tue Apr 03, 2007 1:01 pm

I am looking into recovering my trailer with the fiberglass siding you see on all these new RVs. Although I am having trouble finding all the outside trim parts I want.

I am sure there is a thread here that could answer all my questions. Can somebody point the way?

Got some used siding on the way - maybe

I found someone who says he will pull off the correct sized sheets from a wrecked motorhome. He hasn't said if they will have graphics or not... Little worried that I will get half a word or half of a fox head or something... Anyway, still nobody to talk fiberglass reinforced plastic siding with? I thought you guys knew everything..

Trim Moldings

Postby Dave H » Wed Apr 04, 2007 4:33 pm

I found this web site - it has moldings I think will work but I do not know which ones I need...

Not sure if I should go with the M63 Corner Cap or the M60 Regular Edge or a combo of both...

This site is a good spot to look for what you want. But your best bet is to find out what you want. Then buy it from your local RV dealer. I buy this stuff all the time and unless you buy Miles of it, the shipping will kill ya.

I get 20, 16' legnths delivered for about $27-28 each.

You should pay about $40-$50 for a 16' length at an RV dealer.

Shipping!

Happy Trails
