I know I made this a poll question in the Construction section but it has to do with construction
Just trying to figure out where to place the sink faucet.

What's your thoughts 1, 2 or 3

I plan to have a recessed area in the wall behind the sink about the depth of a can.

Why did you choose the position you did?

All thoughts welcome

1) if anything of size goes in behind the sink - 2 and 3 may be in the way for this purpose.

The corner option will inevitably lead to water all over the counters since your spray area is a 90 deg instead of 180 deg. The back position will make accessing the rear areas difficult.

Option 1 is my pick.

Greetings Scott

I also agree - No 1 is my preferred choice.

I like the corner. You can put things behind the sink and to the side of the sink. How much spray will you get from the available water pressure?

...unless it interferes with the cabinets/shelves behind it, I would put it in the back...if not there, I would go for the side although the corner has a nice aesthetic toit...so I guess I vote for 1, 2, 3.. :? ;)

I vote for #2. This will allow the most use of space beside and behind the sink area and as stated above, the spray/splash should be minimal with the water pressure that you will have. (unless you are hooking up directly to the campground water hookup).

If you put in the #1 postion you will limit the use of the space beside the sink.

If you put in the #3 postion you will block access to the are behind the sink.

JMHOYMMV!!! :)

This is a no-brainer:

#1

It allows the EASIEST access to the faucet for whatever you're cleaning under it, and it makes use of that tiny "no man's land" space that we all have to deal with when installing a sink toward the very edge of one of the galley sides.

#1--like pee pee. Not #2--like doody.

I had to make a trip to the next town over during work and there's a great little mom and pop hardware right on the way my truck just turned in there  :shhh:
Only $9 couldn't pass it up

Greetings again, Heikki

Ira, I really thought I'd just use the sink for like small dishes But hey I guess in a pinch

Way to stay neutral Madjack

My choices are narrowed down to 1 and 2 I think.
The corner has a real neat look about it but I really like it on the flat side also

Numero Uno is my vote.......But if you wanted to maximize counter space "'sink in a drawer" gets my vote! :D

If it is positioned in the corner of the sink, You will be limited as to the radius of the pot you can put water in. At the back will be in your way, but on the side utilizes space that would otherwise be unused.

#1 is the only choice.

#2. It frees up most of the space on the side and back.
