How big is your door?

I'm 6'3'' and my wife is 6'0'' and was wonding what size of door would be a good size. Currently I have a 40''h x 30''w I did a paper pattern of it and hung it on the wall, but I still don't know if it's too big.
Help please

I am 6'5" 280lbs(give or take) and my door is 30"wide x 36" high. I have no problem getting in and out.
How high are you walls?

With the 5' walls it would be fine IMHO.

I would make my doors high enough to jump up and down in.
Not really but if you sit on a chair and have someone measure to your head and add a couple of inches it should work. Remember when you come out of the door you will either raise up or duck. Mike ducks (6'1") I am the one who hits her head.

On a 5' high tear, 40" should be fine. Mine are 30" X 36".

Mike...I'm 6'2" 240# and have 28 x 33 doors...they are fine for me. You are taking the right approach however in making a paper one and putting it up against the side of the tear...My opinion, but I think it's important to make it all "look" good and that things are in proportion in relation to the front of the tear, fenders roof and bottom...Doug

Mine are 26 wide, 36 tall.
4x8 teardrop.
I'm 5ft9, 160.
Curved door takes a bit away from dimensions but they're still more than ample for me.
