I got my water system installed

I can believe how much it cost just for the fittings and hose to install my water tanks! $40 just for fittings but at least I wont have to worry about it leaking! I ordered a Shurflow on demand pump that should arrive any day , I used a stainless steel boat deck water filler to mount on the side.
I am kinda dissapointed in the way my cabinets turned out, I thought the Luan would look okay but the veneer is so thin that when I sprayed on the polyurethane it turned the veneer almost clear and I can kinda see through it to the uglier substrate below, I will be recovering all the cabinets with Oak veneer next winter,

You have officially lost your mind.

But when the North Koreans drop the bomb on us, I want to crash in YOUR TD!!!

The small tubes connected to the top of each tank is the venting system,I have a small check valve that mounts on the end of the tube to prevent water from coming out, The space between the tanks is where my icebox sits and the pump will mount next to the tank on the right and pump the water up to my sink. I did make a big mistake when running my wire,I forgot to run a circuit for the water pump! I will have to run it through some conduit under the body when I mount it to the frame. Aaron

Thanks Ira! I will keep an eye out for the north Korean bombs but I think they may drop it on my coast before they drop it on yours so maybe I will be crashing in yours! Aaron

I just realized something, which may mean you're not as nuts as I thought:

Remember Aaron--you can put beer and rum in those tanks TOO!

NOW we're talking!!!

Can you take a pic of the cap unscrewed? Does a water hoes attach to it or do you just stick the hose in it???

Inquiring minds want to know!!!

It's hard to tell from the pics but it looks like gravity will be filling the second tank. Will it be able to fill it up past the level of the incoming tube or am I missing something? Sure looks neat anyway!

Both tanks fill at the same time, I stuck a hose in the filler tube (the large one) and both tanks filled up at the same time, I vented both tanks with a common vent connected by a tee, It works great, I was worried it would take forever to fill but no problems, Aaron
